MAYOR'S REPORT Condolences to Donna Bourg on the passing of her mother. Happy Daze Vape Shop will be holding a ribbon cutting on February 15th at 1:00 Lukancic Middle School will be hosting a district wide Solo and Ensemble contest on Saturday February 16th. Village offices will be closed on February 18th in observance of President’s Day. Thanks to all of our employees who had to be out during these weather events. Everyone did an awesome job. He commended Valley View School District Transportation for having the busses up and running so quickly. 19-2588 A Motion to Appoint Charles Hervas as PSEBA Hearing Officer for the Village of Romeoville A motion was made by Trustee Griffin, seconded by Trustee Aguirre, that this Motion be Approved. CLERK'S REPORT Condolences to Donna on the passing of her mother. Thanks to all the Departments for your rolls in ensuring the resident's safety. Welcome to our new hearing officer. The Community Serivce Council and Valley View Enrichment Foundation met last month. The Valley View Enrichment Foundation is planning their annual fundrasier to be held in March. 7. CITIZEN'S, COMMITTEES, COMMISSIONS AND LIAISON REPORTS None 8. VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT Thanks to all of the Departments who did unbelievable work during the weather events. They did a great job. 9. RES19-2642 A Resolution Approving an Amendment to the Contract between the Village of Romeoville and Waste Management for Added Services – At Your Door Special Collection Services This Resolution was Approved. 10. BOARD COMMENTS Trustee Palmiter- The Departments did an excellent job during the crazy weather the past few days. Trustee Griffin- Nobody wants to work in the conditions that we have had the past couple of days. Thanks to our staff for doing what they do. Trustee Richards- The February 12th Planning and Zoning meeting was cancelled. In Trustee Clancy's absence he gave a Recreation update. Condolences to Donna Bourg. Thanks to every department for their dedication to the Village. Trustee Aguirre- The Police and Fire Commission meeting has been changed from February 12th to February 15th. Condolences to Donna Bourg. Thanks to Dawn for the new pick up program. Everyone does a great job. Thanks for all you do. Mayor Noak added that we will be sending out information regarding the new pick up service relatively soon. 11. EXECUTIVE SESSION None 12.
