Ordinance: Protecting Patient Privacy and Rights Near Healthcare ~ 7:15 p.m. Facilities 20 min. The Council will receive a briefing about an ordinance that would help protect the privacy and security of patients utilizing or visiting healthcare facilities in Salt Lake City. The proposed ordinance would set clearer guidelines for the proper place for, and the manner of, the exercise of free speech in the vicinity of patients and patient access points of all medical facilities. Ordinance: 20 MPH Default Speed Limit on City Streets Follow-up TENTATIVE - The Council will receive a follow-up briefing about a proposal to change the City speed limit to 20 mph on all streets in 25 mph zones, whether posted or not. The City's default speed limit is set in City Code.
