Ordinance: Alley Closure at Approximately 9 North Chicago ~ 2:35 p.m. Street (Madsen Park) 20 min. The Council will receive a briefing about indefinitely closing a portion of City-owned alley located at approximately 9 North Chicago Street (Madsen Park) running north/south mid-block between 1000 West and Chicago Street. The proposed alley closure is needed to consolidate all parcels that make up Madsen Park into one parcel to facilitate park improvements that are being funded by the Parks, Trails, & Open Space General Obligation Bond (GO Bond). Budget amendments happen several times each year to reflect adjustments to the City’s budgets, including proposed project additions and modifications.
