The BuildingRelated and Fire Codes Appeals and Advisory Board Electrical Code Committee will
hold its regular meeting in the 1901 S. Alamo beginning at 1:00 PM. Once convened, the Building
Related and Fire Codes Appeals and Advisory Board Electrical Code Committee will take up the
following items no sooner than the designated times.

Once a quorum is established, the BuildingRelated and Fire Codes Appeals and Advisory Board
Electrical Code Committee shall consider the following:

1. Approval of the minutes from the BuildingRelated and Fire Codes Appeals and Advisory Board
Electrical Code Committee meeting on March 3, 2022
Public Comments
Briefing and Possible Action on the following items
2. Discussion of the 2020 National Electrical Code and propose changes to current amendments
3. Discussion of Sections of the 2021 International Residential Code pertaining to the Electrical
Systems and propose changes to current amendments
4. Discussion of Chapter 10 Section 10113 the City Code "City electrical contractors and electrical
sign contractors, installers, maintenance electricians; licenses and registrations” and propose
changes for these sections
5. Vote to add any new members to the Electrical Code Committee

At any time during the meeting, the BuildingRelated and Fire Codes Appeals and Advisory Board

Director's Report
At any time during the meeting, the BuildingRelated and Fire Codes Appeals and Advisory Board
Electrical Code Committee may meet in executive session for consultation with the City Attorney's
Office concerning attorney client matters under Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.
