Alamo The Building­Related and Fire Codes Appeals and Advisory Board ­ Sign Code Committee will hold its regular meeting in the 1901 S. Alamo beginning at 1:00 PM. Once convened, the Building­Related and Fire Codes Appeals and Advisory Board ­ Sign Code Committee will take up the following items no sooner than the designated times. Once a quorum is established, the Building­Related and Fire Codes Appeals and Advisory Board ­ Sign Code Committee shall consider the following: Roll Call Approval of Minutes 1. Approval of the minutes from the Building­Related and Fire Codes Appeals and Advisory Board – Sign Code Committee meeting on June 1, 2022 Public Comments Briefing and Possible Action on the following items 2. Vote to add new board members to the Sign Code Committee 3. Non action item, briefing on inventory and location of permitted off­premise billboards in the City of San Antonio and location of Gateway Corridors, Urban Corridors, and Historical Districts that have specific billboard restrictions. 4. Chapter 28 amendment item 1­2, external, request to define On and Off Premise height definition to match state language for clarity/consistency of max height from the main traveled way, Per Section 28­52 (1) Off­Premises Signs Specifications and Maintenance Height and Section 28­45 Table 1 and Table 2 On­Premises Signs Height (Jeremy McDonald, BRFCAAB Board Liaison, 210­207­0265, SignCodeReview@sanantonio.gov, Development Services Department) 5. Chapter 28 amendment item COSA 6, internal, request to add clarifying language to the Section 28­48 Digital Displays, On­Premises Standards to indicate that the section pertains to both digital displays and projected images used as signs, add "video" to Section 28­48 (2)(a), and define "video" in Section 28­6, Definitions (Jeremy McDonald, BRFCAAB Board Liaison, 210­207­ 0265, SignCodeReview@sanantonio.gov, Development Services Department) 9. Review remaining requests for amendments to Chapter 28, Signs, to determine if additional information is needed and to determine which items would be discussed at the next Sign Code Committee meeting. No action will be taken under this agenda item. Director's Report At any time during the meeting, the Building­Related and Fire Codes Appeals and Advisory Board ­ Sign Code Committee may meet in executive session for consultation with the City Attorney's Office concerning attorney client matters under Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.
