Rodriguez Council Chamber in the Municipal Plaza Building located at 114 W. Commerce Street beginning at the above referenced date and time for the following items. Once convened, the City Council will take up the following items in any order during the meeting but no sooner than the designated times. 9:00 AM: Call to Order Members of the public can comment on items on the agenda. Ordinance recommending A) the closure, vacation and abandonment of four unimproved Public Right-of-Way paper alleys in NCBs 7729 and 7730, and B) the issuance of one 25- year-term permit for several existing encroachments within Quintard Street Public Right-of- Way and an unimproved paper alley Public Right-of-Way in NCB 7730, as requested by Neighborhood & Housing Services representing Mission Trail Community Association, as part of the 2022 Affordable Housing Bond. Ordinance amending Chapter 5 of the City Code entitled “Animals” to prohibit the abandonment of animals. Approving the appointment of councilmembers to boards, commissions, and committees for a term concurrent with the 2025 - 2029 City Council term. [Debbie Racca-Sittre, City Clerk] A. Councilmembers Sukh Kaur (District 1) and Leo Castillo-Anguiano (District 2) to the San Antonio Fire and Police Pension Fund (FPPF) Board of Trustees, with Councilmember Jalen McKee-Rodriguez (District 2) to take the District 2 seat upon his return. B. Councilmembers Leo Castillo-Anguiano (District 2) and Misty Spears (District 9) to the Retiree Health & Wellness San Antonio Fire and Police Board of Trustees, with Councilmember Jalen McKee-Rodriguez (District 2) to take the District 2 seat upon his return. 9. Approving the appointment of councilmembers to boards, commissions, and committees for a term concurrent with the 2025 - 2029 City Council term. [Debbie Racca-Sittre, City Clerk] A. Approving the appointment of Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones and Councilmembers Phyllis Viagran (District 3) and Marina Alderete Gavito (District 7) to the San Antonio Economic Development Corporation (SAEDC) Board of Directors for the remainder of a two-year term expiring May 31, 2027; Councilmember Jalen McKee-Rodriguez (District 2) shall take Councilmember Alderete Gavito's seat upon his return. Approving the appointment of Sandy Millman Ramirez (District 7) to the San Antonio Diez y Seis Commission for the remainder of a term of office to expire May 31, 2027. City of San Antonio, in the 37th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas, Cause No. 2024-CI-12445 in the amount of $195,000 for Plaintiff Rachel Aleman. [Andy Segovia, City Attorney] 20. Ordinance approving a settlement of a personal injury lawsuit styled Rachel Aleman and Gloria Deams v. City of San Antonio, in the 37th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas, Cause No. 2024-CI-12445 in the amount of $140,000 for Plaintiff Gloria Deams. [Andy Segovia, City Attorney] 21. Ordinance authorizing a contract amendment with SAP Public Services, Inc. (SAP) in the amount not to exceed $2,873,088 to provide continued Active Attention Services for the SAP system upgrade for a twenty-seven-month period. Ordinance authorizing an award of up to $3,600,000 including up to $1,527,315.46 in 2022- 2027 Affordable Housing Bond, $525,847.97 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and up to $1,546,836.57 in HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds for the Tezel Road Apartments Project, a multi-family affordable housing development project.
