The Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission Meeting will hold its regular meeting in
the City Tower, 100 W. Houston Street, San Antonio, TX 78205, Conference Room A 00.W405
Concourse Level beginning at 9:00 AM. Once convened, the Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil
Service Commission Meeting will take up the following items no sooner than the designated times.
Once a quorum is established, the Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission Meeting
shall consider the following:
Approval of Minutes
1. Approval of the minutes from the Fire Fighters' and Police Officers' Civil Service Commission
meeting on June 6, 2022
Briefing and Possible Action on the following items
2. Protest and appeals of questions from the written examination for the position of Fire Engineer
administered on July 7, 2022.
3. Pending the outcome of the Fire Engineer Appeals Hearing, notice and appropriate action
regarding the approval of the eligibility list for the position of Fire Engineer created from
examination administered on July 7, 2022. This eligibility list will remain in existence for one year
beginning on the first day of the month following the month the written examination was given or
until the list is exhausted. If changes are made to the examination as a result of the Appeals
Hearing, this item will be tabled, and an amended eligibility list will be certified at a subsequent
Commission Meeting.
4. Notice and appropriate action to approve five lists of psychiatrists to evaluate five San Antonio
Police Department applicants.
5. Notice and appropriate action regarding the approval to administer a Probationary Firefighter
Examination. The twohour written examination will be given at 9:00 AM on September 9, 2022,
at the Fire Training Academy, 300 S. Callaghan Road, San Antonio, Texas 78227. The eligibility
list will be valid for a period of one (1) year from the date of approval or until the list has been
regarding the approval of the eligibility list for the position of Fire Engineer created from

7. Notice of SAPD and SAFD disciplinary suspensions without pay:
a. An agreed one (1) day suspension for Officer Bryan A. Aguilar effective June 13, 2022.
b. A three (3) day suspension for Officer Cora L. Mainz effective June 20, 2022.
c. An agreed seven (7) day suspension for Officer Holvin M. Perez Jr. effective June 18,
2022.
d. An agreed one (1) day suspension for Detective Luis Tijerina effective June 13, 2022.
e. A three (3) day suspension for Fire Engineer Daniel Lloyd effective June 14, 2022.
f. An agreed one (1) day suspension for Officer Cedric A. Hudson, Jr. effective July 2, 2022.
g. An agreed one (1) day suspension for Officer Galo H. Maldonado effective July 17, 2022.
These matters have not been appealed and are therefore final.
h. An indefinite suspension for Officer Adam FranklinAlonso effective June 6, 2022. A letter
of appeal was received on June 8, 2022.
i. An indefinite suspension for Officer Adam FranklinAlonso effective June 6, 2022. A letter
of appeal was received on June 8, 2022.
j. An indefinite suspension for Officer Adam FranklinAlonso effective June 30, 2022. A letter
of appeal was received on June 30, 2022.

l. An indefinite suspension for Officer Christian Harris effective June 27, 2022. A letter of
appeal was received on June 28, 2022.
m. An indefinite suspension for Officer Rosemary Caudillo effective June 27, 2022. A letter
of appeal was received on June 28, 2022.
