As part of that charge, the Commission helps engage the public on this work. Briefing and possible action on the policy for recommending Council issuance of Resolutions of Support and Resolutions of No Objection for applicants seeking Low Income Housing Tax Credits from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. No action will be taken. 6. Commissioner reports on items of community interest. Reports may include expressions of thanks, congratulations or condolence; information regarding holiday schedules; honorary or salutary recognition of public officials, public employees or other citizens, except for changes in status of a person’s public office or public employment; reminders about upcoming events organized or sponsored by the Housing Commission; information regarding social, ceremonial, or community events organized or sponsored by other entities attended or scheduled to be attended by a member of the Housing Commission or City of San Antonio official or employee; or announcements involving an imminent threat to the public health and safety that has arisen after posting of this agenda.
