Once convened, the Municipal Civil Service Commission Meeting will take up the following items no sooner than the designated times. Once a quorum is established, the Municipal Civil Service Commission Meeting shall consider the following: Approval of Minutes 1. Approval of the minutes from the Municipal Civil Service Commission meeting on September 24, 2025. Briefing and Possible Action on the following items 2. Scheduled hearing for the purpose of deliberating and making a recommendation to the City Manager on the appeal of Steve Diaz regarding his suspension, effective September 23, 2025. The employee is from the Aviation Department. Public Comments At any time during the meeting, the Municipal Civil Service Commission Meeting may meet in executive session for consultation with the City Attorney's Office concerning attorney client matters under Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.
