The SBEDA Committee Meeting will hold its regular meeting at City Tower, 100 W. Houston in the
Concourse Conference Room A 00.W405 beginning at 3:00 PM. Once convened, the SBEDA
Committee Meeting will take up the following items no sooner than the designated times.
Once a quorum is established, the SBEDA Committee Meeting shall consider the following:
Approval of Minutes
1. Approval of the minutes from the Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA)
Committee meetings on February 27, 2023, May 12, 2023, and June 1, 2023.
Public Comments
Individuals may sign up for live public comment the day of the meeting. Those unable to attend the
meeting may participate by submitting written comment via email or voice message until 5:00 PM on
the day before the meeting. Comments may be provided in English or Spanish and interpretation
services will be provided with advanced notice. Email comments of up to 300 words
to SmallBizInfo@sanantonio.gov. Voicemail comments can be left at (210) 2073957. Voice messages
will be limited to 300 words transcribed. Comments that do not pertain to the agenda items will not be
presented to the Committee.
Briefing and Possible Action on the following items
2. Briefing on the 2023 Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) Disparity Study
Public Engagement Process and Approval to Recommend City Council Adopt the Study.
At any time during the meeting, the SBEDA Committee Meeting may meet in executive session for
consultation with the City Attorney's Office concerning attorney client matters under Chapter 551 of the
