Thursday, November 16, 2023 2:00 PM Houston The Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) Committee Meeting will hold its regular meeting at City Tower, 100 W. Houston in Conference Room B on the Concourse Level beginning at 2:00 PM. Once convened, the Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) Committee Meeting will take up the following items no sooner than the designated times. Once a quorum is established, the Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) Committee Meeting shall consider the following: Approval of Minutes 1. Approval of the minutes from the Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) Committee meeting on October 20, 2023. Public Comments Individuals may sign up for live public comment the day of the meeting. Those unable to attend the meeting may participate by submitting written comment via email or voice message until 5:00 PM on the day before the meeting. Briefing on the Recommended 2023 Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) Ordinance Amendments Based on 2023 SBEDA Disparity Study Findings and Public Engagement and Possible Action to Recommend City Council Adopt the Recommended SBEDA Ordinance the day before the meeting. At any time during the meeting, the Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) Committee Meeting may meet in executive session for consultation with the City Attorney's Office concerning attorney client matters under Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.
