City of San Antonio AGENDA City Commission on Veterans Affairs (VAC) Hardberger Park Urban Ecology Center Classroom Monday, July 18, 2022 6:30 PM (8400 NW Military Hwy, 78231) The City Commission on Veterans Affairs (VAC) will hold its regular meeting in the Hardberger Park Urban Ecology Center Classroom (8400 NW Military Hwy, 78231) beginning at 6:30 PM. Once convened, the City Commission on Veterans Affairs (VAC) will take up the following items no sooner than the designated times. Once a quorum is established, the City Commission on Veterans Affairs (VAC) shall consider the following: Pledge of Allegiance Approval of minutes from the meeting on May 16, 2022. Public Comments Briefing and Possible Action on the following items 1. District and Staff Updates and Administration: a. Chair (Mayoral) Opening Comments b. Staff liaison introduction of D2 representative nominee c. Districts provide brief update (in order from D1­D10) d. Co­Chair (D4) Update e. Chair (Mayoral) Update i. The Bush Institute's Stand­To Veteran Leadership Program (VLP) d. Staff liaison administrative items overview and due­outs i. Upcoming meetings’ host and focus topics (D3 and D7) ii. Website blurbs for representatives iii. MTTF Proposed Changes iv. Greenway and Military Installations v. SA Speak Up e. Staff liaison updates on any projects / initiatives related to districts i. At any time during the meeting, the City Commission on Veterans Affairs (VAC) may meet in executive session for consultation with the City Attorney's Office concerning attorney client matters under Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.
