Recommendation: Provide a brief summary of recent announcements, significant
accomplishments, and upcoming events related to economic
development. (Economic Development)
2. CC 19-021 Team San Jose Semi Annual Update.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Committee accept a mid-year report on
Team San Jose’s a) Year-to-Date Performance Measures for Fiscal
Year 2018 - 2019 and b) its sales and marketing activities. (Office of
Cultural Affairs)

3. CC 19-022 Review of the College Football Playoff and NHL All-Star Game
Activation Coordination and Implementation.
Recommendation: Accept staff’s summary report on events and activities in San Jose for
the 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship January 3-7,
2019 (Championship Weekend) and the 2019 National Hockey League
(NHL) All-Star Weekend January 24 - 27, 2019 (All-Star Weekend).

4. CC 19-023 Affordable Housing Investment Plan Update.
Recommendation: 1. Accept the staff report on the update of the Housing Investment
Plan for expenditure of affordable housing funds;
2. Include two new priorities funding acquisition and/or rehabilitation of
existing market rate housing and a minimum of 30% of funds be
invested in extremely low-income housing over the life of the Housing
Investment Plan and;
3. Cross-reference this report to the full City Council to be heard at the
April 9, 2019 City Council meeting. (Housing)
