CC 20-039 City Council Priority #13 Cannabis Equity Applicant Program Recommendation: Provide the committee with an update on progress on City Council Policy Priorities #13, Cannabis Equity Applicant Program. This priority concerns creation of a Cannabis Equity Program, which would facilitate the inclusion and support of individuals and communities in the cannabis industry who are linked to populations or neighborhoods that were negatively or disproportionately impacted by cannabis criminalization. CC 20-035 Verbal Report on Economic Development Activities Recommendation: Provide a brief summary of recent announcements, significant accomplishments, and upcoming events related to economic development. CC 20-036 Hammer Theatre Center Operations and Maintenance Agreement Recommendation: Accept report and forward a recommendation to the City Council to adopt a resolution authorizing the City Manager to negotiate and execute an agreement with San Jose State University for the operations and maintenance of the Hammer Theatre Center for a 15 year term with two additional 10 year options to renew starting July 1, 2020, for an annual amount of $315,000 with adjustments according to the consumer price index, subject to appropriations approved by City Council. CC 20-037 Downtown Wayfinding Program Update Recommendation: Accept Downtown Wayfinding Program and Regional Transit Mapping and Wayfinding updates, which provide a status report of activities undertaken for a permanent wayfinding system for Downtown San José since February 2019.
