2020 and refer Council Policy Priority #25 to a January 2020 City
Council Meeting per Rules and Open Government Committee 12/4/19.

1. CC 19-349 SJ Learns Update. (Library) [Deferred from November 14, 2019]
Recommendation: (a) Review and accept the staff report on the San José Learns program;
(b) Review and provide feedback regarding program plans for Fiscal
Year 2019-2020;
(c) Direct staff to return to the Neighborhood Services and Education
Committee annually to report on progress implementing San José
Learns.

2. CC 19-336 Census 2020 Update. (Office of Economic Development)
Recommendation: Accept the verbal report on the City's efforts to ensure every resident is
counted in the upcoming 2020 Federal Census.

Recommendation: (a) Accept the report on Scholarships and Fee Activity; and
