Recommendation: (1) Accept the Third Quarter (period ending March 31, 2019) Financial
Reports for Fiscal Year 2018-2019 for the following programs:
(a) Debt Management
(b) Investment Management
(c) Revenue Collection
(2) Refer the Third Quarter Financial Reports for Fiscal Year
2018-2019 to the June 4, 2019, City Council Meeting for full
adoption.
(3) Forward recommendation to the City Council for the June 4, 2019
Council Meeting to adopt a resolution authorizing the Director of
Finance to write-off uncollectible debts in an amount up to
$556,731.95.

Guard Innovative Hiring Strategies. (Police)
Recommendation: Accept the follow-up report on the implementation of City Council
Policy Priority #22 (Formerly #17): Develop Innovative Strategies to
Hire School Crossing Guards, with a focus on information regarding the
alignment of School Crossing Guard Program staffing needs and the
program’s budgetary allocation, without a degradation in current service
levels.
