(Police) Recommendation: Accept the annual report on Police Department recruitment activity, with a focus on both sworn and communications personnel, including recruiting and hiring expenditures, communications/marketing activities, marketing outreach data analysis, academy entrants data analysis, resignation data analysis, and diverse applicant pool applications/hiring efforts for 2018-2019. (Police) Recommendation: Accept the annual report on cardroom compliance with Title 16 of the San José Municipal Code (Gaming Control Regulatory Program) for 2018-2019.
