1. CC 21-020 Firefighter Safety Systems in High Rise Buildings Report. (Fire)
Recommendation: Accept a report on firefighter safety systems in high rise buildings
comparing Firefighter Breathing Air Replenishment Systems and
fire-rated elevators, including consideration of any changes to the 2019
California Fire Code and/or Fire Department policies, procedures, and
equipment. [Added per January 6, 2021 Rules Item: H.4, Continued
from August 20, 2020 and December 10, 2020)

2. CC 21-016 Police Department Operations and Performance Bi-Monthly Status
Report. (Police)
Recommendation: Accept a verbal bi-monthly status report on Police Department
operations and performance in the areas of city-wide crime statistics,
crime trends, emerging issues, and other matters of interest, as needed,
with a focus on sexual assault.

3. CC 21-019 Smart City Roadmap: Safe City Strategy Status Report. (City
Manager-Civic Innovation)
Recommendation: Accept a status report on the Smart City Roadmap: Safe City Strategy
regarding the applied use of technology and technology improvement
opportunities within the Police Department, Fire Department, and the
City Manager's Office of Emergency Management.

Recommendation: (1) Accept the Second Quarter (period ended December 31, 2020)
Financial Reports for Fiscal Year 2020-2021 for the following programs:

(b) Investment Management
(c) Revenue Management
(2) Refer the Second Quarter Financial Reports for Fiscal Year
2020-2021 to the March 9, 2021, City Council Meeting for full
adoption.

5. CC 21-018 City of San José Investment Policy Annual Review. (Finance)
Recommendation: 1) Approve the City of San José Investment Policy, as amended.
2) Refer the City of San José Investment Policy as well as the
appropriate resolution to the full City Council for consideration at the
March 9, 2021 Council Meeting.
