(Environmental Services Department) Recommendation: Accept a report on the City Manager's decision per Resolution 78955 to waive a portion of the diversion disincentive owned by California Waste Solutions (CWS) for not meeting diversion rates in calendar year 2018 because of challenges marketing some recyclable material as a result of China's National Sword policy. Regional Transportation Activities Quarterly Report. (Department of Transportation) Recommendation: 1. Accept the quarterly status report on regional transportation funding, programs, and projects of interest to the City of San Jose involving other regional, state, and federal agencies such as the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA), the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board (Caltrain), the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC), the California High Speed Rail (HSR) Authority, and the State Department of Transportation (Caltrans). 2. Accept the report on progress to date on the San Jose Diridon Integrated Station Concept Plan (Concept Plan). 3. Direct the City Manager to develop an agreement between the City of San Jose, the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board (Caltrain), the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA), and the California High-Speed Rail (HSR) Authority ("Partner Agencies") that will provide for development of a Rail Corridor Plan for San Jose, Attachments Memorandum Attachment A Attachment B Attachment C Presentation 1 Presentation 2 3. (Community Energy Department) Recommendation: Accept the report on the status of San Jose Clean Energy, including the enrollment of residential and commercial customers, opt-out rates, 100% renewable product enrollment, and the financial status.
