submit your written comments to arts@sanmarcostx.gov no later than 12:00 pm on the day of the
meeting. Comments shall have a time limit of three minutes each.
MINUTES
1. Consider approval, by motion, of the June 24, 2026 minutes.
DISCUSSION
2. Hold discussion on 2026 SMarts Awards.
3. Hold discussion on Downtown TIRZ-funded public art project and give direction to staff.
REPORTS
4. Receive a financial report from staff.
5. Receive a staff report on the 2027 Arts and Cultural Grant process.
6. Receive a staff report on current projects.
7. Receive a report from the Mural Arts Committee.
8. Receive a report from the Community Engagement Committee.
9. Receive a report on upcoming events.
FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
10. Board Members may provide requests for discussion items for a future agenda in accordance
with the board’s approved bylaws. No further discussion will be held related to topics
proposed until they are posted on a future agenda in accordance with the Texas Open
Meetings Act.
IV. Question and Answer Session with Press and Public.
This is an opportunity for the Press and Public to ask questions related to items on this agenda.
Persons wishing to participate remotely in the Q&A session must email arts@sanmarcostx.gov
beginning the day prior to the meeting and before 12:00PM the day of the meeting. A call in number
to join by phone or link will be provided for participation on a mobile device, laptop or desktop
computer. If attending in person, no sign up is required.
