I. Call to Order II. Roll Call III. Citizen Comment Period: Each speaker will be provided up to three minutes to speak. Persons wishing to participate (speak) during the Citizen Comment portion of the meeting virtually must email jcase@sanmarcostx.gov prior to 12:00 p.m. the day of the meeting. A call-in number/link will be provided for participation. Written comments can also be submitted to jcase@sanmarcostx.gov for distribution to the board prior to the meeting. Those wishing to speak in person may sign up in person on the day of the meeting. Each speaker signed up prior to the meeting being called to order will be called in the order in which they signed-up. MINUTES 1. Consider approval, by motion, of the June 24, 2026, regular meeting minutes. ACTION 2. Discuss and consider granting approval of a curbing variance request from the Contreras family. REPORTS 3. Receive a brief report from scheduled commissioners who checked the condition of the cemetery. 4. Receive a brief staff report on the status of the cemetery expansion project. IV. Question and Answer Session with Press and Public. This is an opportunity for the Press and Public to ask questions related to items on this agenda. V. Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 4:06 pm by Chair Fay Cliett Gillham. II. A motion was made by Debbie Thomas, seconded by Clay Sullivan, to amend the April 22, 2026, regular meeting minutes. Motion Passed. The motion carried by the following vote: For: 5 - Fay Cliett Gillham, Brenda Butler, Clay Sullivan, Debbie Thomas, Bobby Moore Against: 0- Absent: 2 – Tim Bauerkemper, Cindy Casparis 3 REPORTS 2. Receive a brief report from scheduled commissioners who checked the condition of the cemetery. Debbie stated the grass looked green and recently mowed. There are deer everywhere. Bobby shared that Gene’s crew will weed eat and edge by Tuesday. Bobby noted a wisteria tree that needs attention. Gene said he will collaborate with Kelly Eby about the wisteria tree. Bobby shared that the concrete base around the columbarium looks unsightly. Gene said that he has a few options to help reduce or remove the stains. 3. Receive a brief staff report on the status of the cemetery expansion project. Valerie shared that project would move to Request for Proposal (RFP) soon. Gene explained that an RFP usually takes two to three months to complete. IV. Question and Answer Session with Press and Public. This is an opportunity for the Press and Public to ask questions related to items on this agenda. No comments were made. V.
