MEETINGS
The Block Grants Advisory Committee holds regular meetings on the second Monday of every month. Regular
meetings start at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Development Department conference room at the Ruffoni
Building, 110 South Pine Street, Santa Maria, California. Special and Adjourned Regular meetings start time
are to be determined.
INTERPRETER REQUEST
To allow the City to coordinate and request a Spanish interpreter from the volunteer corps, contact the Office of
the City Clerk by 1:00 p.m. on Thursday before the meeting. Equipo también puede ser utilizado para la
asistencia de interpretación para esas personas que solamente hablan español. Para permitirle a la Ciudad
que coordine y solicite un interprete de un grupo de voluntarios, llame al (805) 925-0951 extensión 2307 a la

Members of the public wishing to submit a public comment or a comment on an agenda item, can email

Community Programs Manager, 110 South Pine Street, Suite 103, Santa Maria, CA 93458. Letters/emails will
not be read aloud during the meeting. All correspondence will be distributed to Councilmembers, submissions
received after the deadline will not be processed until the following day but will become a part of the official
record.

Regular meeting agendas will be posted at least 72 hours before the meeting (GC§ 54954(a)(1)). Agenda and
Cancellation Notices can be viewed online and are also posted at the following two locations: Santa Maria City
Hall located at 110 East Cook Street, Santa Maria, California, and the Community Development Department
located at the Ruffoni Building, 110 South Pine Street, Santa Maria, California.

Approve the minutes of the Block Grants Advisory Committee for the special meeting of
February 11, 2026.

3.b ACTION: Review and Adopt Funding Priorities for Fiscal Year 2027-2028

4. PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
Speakers may provide public comments on any matter within the subject matter jurisdiction of the
Commission. Each speaker will be limited to three minutes, maximum 15 minutes for Public
Comment Period. Unless a majority of the Commission objects, the Chair may provide speakers
more or less time to speak. All comments or queries shall be addressed to the Commission as a
body and not to any specific member thereof. Pursuant to Government Code §54954.2(a)(2), the
Ralph M. Brown Act, no action or discussion by the Commission shall be undertaken on any item not
appearing on the posted agenda, except to briefly provide information, ask for clarification, provide
direction to staff, or schedule a matter for a future meeting.
