Meeting Minutes – Scranton City Planning Commission Wednesday, April 26, 2023 6:00 PM City Council Chambers City Hall, 2nd Floor 340 North Washington Avenue, Scranton, Pennsylvania The Scranton City Planning Commission held a regularly scheduled meeting on April 26, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at the City Council Chambers, 340 North Washington Ave, Scranton, PA. CALL TO ORDER: Mr. Murphy called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM. Commissioners Present: Gus Fahey Jack Finnerty Jennifer Davis Joseph Murphy Todd Pousley Joseph Enten Sureshbhai Patel Staff Present: Donald King, City Planner Craig Beavers, Assistant City Planner Andrew Cutillo, Deputy Solicitor APPROVAL OF MINUTES: 1. Regular Meeting Minutes from February 2023. Mr. Pousley made a MOTION to accept the Minutes. Ms. Davis seconded the MOTION (APPROVED 7-0). APPROVAL OF INVOICES: 1. Scranton Times Invoice for March Meeting Cancellation Mr. Pousley made a MOTION to accept the Minutes. Ms. Davis seconded the MOTION (APPROVED 7-0). ELECTION OF OFFICERS: GUEST PRESENTATION: CPC Minutes from April 26, 2023 Page 1 of 3 OLD BUSINESS: 1. None at this time. NEW BUSINESS: 1. Review of Final Land Development Plan by Pennsylvania American Water for the development of a 17,500 sf Operations Center and additions at 2500 Sanitary Drive. I-L zone. 2. Review of Final Land Development Plan by AP Storage LLC for the development of a Storage Unit Complex at 2600 Stafford Ave. C-G zone. 3. Discussion of Complete Streets Policy. Mr. Pousley made a MOTION to approve the 2022 Annual Report with the condition Pages 6 and 7 be clarified to state whether the City Engineer was present or if he offered comments via writing. Ms. Davis seconded the MOTION (APPROVED 6-1). On the question, Mr. Finnerty asked if it would be posted on the City website. Mr. King said it would be. Mr. Fahey: Yes. Mr. Patel: Yes. Mr. Finnerty: Yes. Mr. Murphy: Yes. Mr. Pousley: Yes. Mr. Enten: Abstain. Mr. Davis: Yes. OTHER BUSINESS ADJOURNMENT Mr. Murphy made a MOTION to adjourn at 6:54 PM. Mr. Fahey seconded the MOTION.
