CALL TO ORDER The City Council of The City of Seattle met in the Council Chamber in City Hall in Seattle, Washington, on March 9, 2015, pursuant to the provisions of the City Charter. The meeting was called to order at 2:00 p.m., with Council President Burgess presiding. B. ROLL CALL Present: 8 - Bagshaw, Burgess, Clark, Godden, Harrell, O'Brien, Rasmussen, Sawant Excused: 1 - Licata C. ADOPTION OF INTRODUCTION AND REFERRAL CALENDAR IRC 5 March 9, 2015 Motion was made, duly seconded and carried, to adopt the proposed Introduction and Referral Calendar (IRC) by the following vote: In Favor: 8 - Bagshaw, Burgess, Clark, Godden, Harrell, O'Brien, Rasmussen, Sawant Opposed: None D. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA Motion was made, duly seconded and carried, to adopt the proposed Agenda. E. APPROVAL OF THE JOURNAL Min 4 February 23, 2015 The Journal of the Proceedings of the Seattle City Council meeting of February 23, 2015 was presented for approval. PUBLIC COMMENT By unanimous consent, the Public Comment at Full Council Rule was suspended to allow public comment from items relating to the Woodland Park Zoo. Cathy Sommerfeld addressed the Council regarding a non-Agenda item. Margie Wetherald addressed the Council regarding a non-Agenda item. Mark Hennon addressed the Council regarding a non-Agenda item. Marla Katz addressed the Council regarding a non-Agenda item. Melanie Seas addressed the Council regarding a non-Agenda item. Meg Pascquini addressed the Council regarding a non-Agenda item. H. PAYMENT OF BILLS CB 118344 AN ORDINANCE appropriating money to pay certain audited claims and ordering the payment thereof. Motion was made and duly seconded to pass Council Bill No. 118344. The Motion carried and the Council Bill (CB) was passed by the following vote and the President signed the Bill: In Favor: 8 - Bagshaw, Burgess, Clark, Godden, Harrell, O'Brien, Rasmussen, Sawant Opposed: None Page 2 Full Council Meeting Minutes March 9, 2015 I. COMMITTEE REPORTS PUBLIC SAFETY, CIVIL RIGHTS, AND TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE 1. CB 118341 AN ORDINANCE relating to colocation of the City’s data centers; adding a new Section 3.22.050 to the Seattle Municipal Code to authorize the Chief Technology Officer to enter into agreements with public and private entities for data center colocation space and services; including lease agreements for the City’s use and occupancy of data center colocation facilities, and agreements for related colocation services; and ratifying and confirming certain prior acts. The Committee recommends that Full Council pass the Council Bill (CB). In Favor: 3 - Bagshaw, Harrell, Licata Opposed: None The Council Bill (CB) was passed by the following vote and the President signed the Bill: In Favor: 8 - Bagshaw, Burgess, Clark, Godden, Harrell, O'Brien, Rasmussen, Sawant Opposed: None J. ADOPTION OF OTHER RESOLUTIONS There were none. K. OTHER BUSINESS Motion was made, duly seconded and carried, to excuse Councilmember Bagshaw from the March 23, 2015 Full Council meeting. L.
