CALL TO ORDER The City Council of The City of Seattle met in the Council Chamber in City Hall in Seattle, Washington, on June 15, 2015, pursuant to the provisions of the City Charter. The meeting was called to order at 2:05 p.m., with Council President Burgess presiding. B. ADOPTION OF INTRODUCTION AND REFERRAL CALENDAR IRC 19 June 15, 2015 Motion was made, duly seconded and carried, to adopt the proposed Introduction and Referral Calendar by the following vote: In Favor: 8 - Bagshaw, Burgess, Harrell, Licata, O'Brien, Okamoto, Rasmussen, Sawant Opposed: None D. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA Motion was made, duly seconded and carried, to adopt the proposed Agenda. E. PRESENTATIONS There were none. G. PUBLIC COMMENT Councilmember Godden entered the Council Chamber at 2:06 p.m. Ms. Richard addressed the Council regarding a non-Agenda item. H. PAYMENT OF BILLS CB 118415 AN ORDINANCE appropriating money to pay certain audited claims and ordering the payment thereof. Motion was made and duly seconded to pass Council Bill No. 118415. The Motion carried, the Council Bill (CB) was passed by the following vote, and the President signed the Bill: In Favor: 9 - Bagshaw, Burgess, Godden, Harrell, Licata, O'Brien, Okamoto, Rasmussen, Sawant Opposed: None I. COMMITTEE REPORTS FINANCE AND CULTURE COMMITTEE 1. Appt 00111 Reappointment of Joan G. Sandler as member, Seattle Music Commission, for a term of confirmation to February 1, 2018. The Committee recommends that Full Council confirm the Appointment (Appt). CB 118406 AN ORDINANCE relating to Seattle Public Utilities; authorizing the Director of Seattle Public Utilities to acquire by negotiation land and all other necessary property rights in the Taylor Creek area at 10005 Rainier Avenue South, Seattle, Washington for sediment management and fish enhancement, and to execute, accept and record deeds and convenient documents and agreements deemed by the Director to be necessary to this transaction on behalf of the City; placing the conveyed real properties under the jurisdiction of Seattle Public Utilities; and ratifying and confirming prior acts. The Committee recommends that Full Council pass the Council Bill (CB).
