A. CALL TO ORDER
The City Council of The City of Seattle met in the Council Chamber in
City Hall in Seattle, Washington, on April 11, 2016, pursuant to the
provisions of the City Charter. The meeting was called to order at 2:01
p.m., with Council President Harrell presiding.

Motion was made, duly seconded and carried, to excuse
Councilmember Sawant from the April 11, 2016 Full Council meeting.

F. PRESENTATIONS
Councilmember Harrell presented a Proclamation recognizing the
University of Washington Women’s Basketball Team. By unanimous
consent, the Council Rules were suspended to allow Councilmember
Harrell to present the Proclamation to the UW Husky Women’s Head
Coach, Mike Neighbors, and to allow him to address the Council.
Councilmember González presented a Proclamation recognizing April
as Sexual Assault Awareness Month. By unanimous consent, the
Council Rules were suspended to allow Councilmember González to
present the Proclamation to advocates of Sexual Assault Awareness
Month, and to allow Mary Ellen Stone, Executive Director of the King
County Sexual Assault Resource Center, to address the Council.

Code.

Development Agreement as a condition of rezone approval.

permit is granted; providing for the acceptance of the permit
