A. CALL TO ORDER
The City Council of The City of Seattle met in Special Session in the
Council Chamber in City Hall in Seattle, Washington, on June 21, 2016,
pursuant to the provisions of the City Charter. The meeting was called
to order at 1:32 p.m., with Council President Harrell presiding.
B. ROLL CALL
Present: 5 - Burgess, Harrell, Johnson, Juarez, O'Brien
Excused: 2 - Bagshaw, González
Late Arrival: 2 - Herbold, Sawant
C. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA
Motion was made, duly seconded and carried, to adopt the proposed
Agenda.
By unanimous consent, the Council Rules were suspended to allow
Michael Van Dyke to address the Council.
Councilmember Herbold entered the Council Chamber at 1:32 p.m.
Councilmember Sawant entered the Council Chamber at 1:39 p.m.
D. FULL COUNCIL REPORT/FINAL VOTE ON LEGISLATION:

1. Res 31677 A RESOLUTION relating to contracting indebtedness;
confirming, ratifying and approving certain terms of the
issuance and sale of The City of Seattle, Washington, Solid
Waste System Improvement and Refunding Revenue Bonds,
2016, for the purposes set forth in Ordinance 124913 and in
Ordinance 124915; confirming, ratifying and approving actions
taken and to be taken to provide for the refunding of certain
outstanding bonds of the Solid Waste System of the City;
confirming, ratifying and approving the notice of bond sale
and other actions taken and to be taken in connection with the
issuance of the bonds and their sale to the purchaser; and
ratifying and confirming the actions of the Director of Finance
and other City officials relating to the issuance and sale of the
bonds.
Motion was made and duly seconded to adopt Resolution 31677.
The Motion carried, the Resolution was adopted by the
following vote, and the President signed the Resolution:
In Favor: 7 - Burgess, Harrell, Herbold, Johnson, Juarez, O'Brien, Sawant
Opposed: None
E. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Council, the
meeting was adjourned at 1:44 p.m.
