PAYMENT OF BILLS CB 118722 AN ORDINANCE appropriating money to pay certain audited claims and ordering the payment thereof. Motion was made and duly seconded to pass Council Bill 118722. Res 31680 A RESOLUTION setting the public hearing on the petition of Swedish Health Services for the vacation of the alley in Block 95, Terry’s Second Addition to the City of Seattle, in the First Hill neighborhood of Seattle, according to Chapter 35.79 of the Revised Code of Washington, Chapter 15.62 of the Seattle Municipal Code, and Clerk File 314304. Motion was made and duly seconded to adopt Resolution 31680. CB 118718 AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance 124927, which adopted the 2016 Budget; creating new appropriations; changing appropriations to various departments and budget control levels, and from various funds in the Budget; making cash transfers between various City funds; and ratifying and confirming certain prior acts; all by a 3/4 vote of the City Council. The Committee recommends that Full Council pass the Council Bill (CB). CB 118713 AN ORDINANCE relating to the sale of the Pacific Place Garage condominium unit (“Garage”); finding that City ownership of the Garage no longer serves municipal purposes; authorizing the sale of the Garage for $87 million to MPH PP Garage LLC; authorizing the Director of Finance and Administrative Services to execute all documents and take other necessary actions to complete the sale of the Garage; directing the deposit of the net sale proceeds; and exempting the sale from the requirements of Resolution 29799 as amended by Resolution 30862. CB 118717 AN ORDINANCE providing for certain remedial actions with respect to the City’s Limited Tax General Obligation Improvement and Refunding Bonds, 2007, including providing for the defeasance and redemption of certain of those bonds that are currently outstanding; creating a new fund for the expenditure of disposition proceeds; authorizing the execution of a defeasance trust agreement and the carrying out of a defeasance plan and directing the use of additional disposition proceeds; authorizing certain transfers necessary to carry out the foregoing; authorizing the purchase of certain investments and the use of their proceeds; and ratifying and confirming certain prior acts; all by a 3/4 vote of the City Council.
