The meeting was called to order at 2:03 p.m., with Council President Bruce Harrell presiding. B. ROLL CALL Present: 9 - Bagshaw, Burgess, González , Harrell, Herbold, Johnson, Juarez, O'Brien, Sawant By unanimous consent, Councilmember Burgess’ September 5, 2017, excused absence was rescinded. C. ACTION 2: Motion was made by Councilmember Harrell, duly seconded and carried, to amend the proposed Agenda by moving Agenda item 15, Resolution 31769, before Agenda item 1, Council Bill 119042. Resolution 31769, A RESOLUTION relating to the Chinatown/International District; amending Resolution 31754, incorporating Filipino Town, and recognizing the important history and contributions of Filipino-Americans to the City of Seattle. PRESENTATIONS Councilmember González presented a Proclamation recognizing La Semana De México/The Week of México. By unanimous consent, the Council Rules were suspended to allow Councilmember González to present the Proclamation, and to allow Consulate Roberto Dondisch Glowinski to address the Council. Motion was made, duly seconded and carried, to excuse Councilmember González from the remainder of the Full Council meeting. Councilmember González left the Council Chamber at 2:09 p.m. Councilmember Bagshaw presented a Proclamation recognizing Closing the Hunger Gap Week. By unanimous consent, the Council Rules were suspended to allow Councilmember Bagshaw to present the Proclamation, and to allow representatives of Northwest Harvest to address the Council. CB 119042 AN ORDINANCE relating to the Department of Finance and Administrative Services; authorizing the Director of the Department of Finance and Administrative Services or the Director’s designee to grant two easements to the State of Washington over and under a portion of real property known as Fire Station 22; and authorizing the Director of the Department of Finance and Administrative Services or the Director’s designee to acquire, accept, and record on behalf of The City of Seattle two easements from the State of Washington over a portion of State right of way, and to place the property rights granted to the City under the jurisdiction of the Department of Finance and Administrative Services.
