CALL TO ORDER The City Council of The City of Seattle met in the Council Chamber in City Hall in Seattle, Washington, on November 20, 2017, pursuant to the provisions of the City Charter. The meeting was called to order at 2:05 p.m., with Council President Harrell presiding. B. ADOPTION OF INTRODUCTION AND REFERRAL CALENDAR Page 1 Full Council Meeting Minutes November 20, 2017 IRC 136 November 20, 2017 ACTION 1: Motion was made and duly seconded to adopt the proposed Introduction and Referral Calendar. ACTION 2: Motion was made by Councilmember Sawant, duly seconded and carried, to amend the proposed Introduction and Referral Calendar by introducing Resolution 31781, and by referring it to the Full Council for adoption at today’s meeting. Resolution 31781, A RESOLUTION urging the President of the United States and the United States Congress to enact legislation securing the citizenship of internationally adopted adult individuals. ACTION 3: Motion was made by Councilmember González, duly seconded and carried, to amend the proposed Introduction and Referral Calendar by introducing Resolution 31782, and by referring it to the Full Council for adoption at today’s meeting. Resolution 31782, A RESOLUTION establishing a process by which the City of Seattle will determine new progressive revenues including an Employee Hours Tax, expressing the City Council's intent to impose such potential revenues, and expressing the City Council's intent to make investments with these revenues that would assist people who are homeless or at a high risk of becoming homeless in obtaining and retaining stable housing body. ACTION 4: Motion was made and duly seconded to adopt the proposed Introduction and Referral Calendar as amended.
