ADOPTION OF INTRODUCTION AND REFERRAL CALENDAR IRC 153 April 2, 2018 ACTION 1: Motion was made and duly seconded to adopt the proposed Introduction and Referral Calendar. ACTION 2: Motion was made by Councilmember Harrell, duly seconded and carried, to amend the proposed Introduction and Referral Calendar by introducing Resolution 31808, and by referring it to the Governance, Equity, and Technology Committee. Resolution 31808, A RESOLUTION relating to the for-hire transportation industry; establishing a work program for the City Council to review the administrative rules and regulations to improve customer service and lower costs to participants, and to explore ways to ensure equal market access to all participants. ACTION 3: Motion was made and duly seconded to adopt the proposed Introduction and Referral Calendar as amended. PRESENTATIONS Councilmember Juarez entered the Council Chamber at 2:07 p.m. Councilmember Mosqueda read a Proclamation recognizing the month of April 2018, to be the Month of Commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Federal Fair Housing Act. Councilmember González presented a Proclamation recognizing April 7, 2018, to be Cambodian Cultural Celebration Day. By unanimous consent, the Council Rules were suspended to allow Councilmember González to present the Proclamation, and to allow Bunthay Cheam to address the Council. Councilmember Harrell presented a Proclamation recognizing Jerry Large. By unanimous consent, the Council Rules were suspended to allow Councilmember Harrell to present the Proclamation, and to allow Mr. Large to address the Council.
