CALL TO ORDER The City Council of The City of Seattle met in the Council Chamber in City Hall in Seattle, Washington, on April 8, 2019, pursuant to the provisions of the City Charter. The meeting was called to order at 2:00 p.m., with Council President Harrell presiding. Present: 8 - Bagshaw, González , Harrell, Herbold, Juarez, Mosqueda, O'Brien, Sawant C. ADOPTION OF INTRODUCTION AND REFERRAL CALENDAR IRC 201 April 8, 2019 Motion was made, duly seconded and carried, to adopt the proposed Introduction and Referral Calendar (IRC) by the following vote: In Favor: 8 - Bagshaw, González , Harrell, Herbold, Juarez, Mosqueda, O'Brien, Sawant Opposed: None D. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA Motion was made, duly seconded and carried, to adopt the proposed Agenda. E. APPROVAL OF THE JOURNAL There were no Minutes presented for approval. PRESENTATIONS Councilmember O'Brien left the Council Chamber at 2:08 p.m. Councilmember Herbold presented a Proclamation recognizing April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month. By unanimous consent, the Council Rules were suspended to allow Councilmember Herbold to present the Proclamation, and to allow Megan Freney, King County Sexual Assault Resource Center, Alicia Glenwell, Coalition Ending Gender-Based Violence, and Darya Farivar, Seattle Women's Commission, to address the Council. G. PUBLIC COMMENT Councilmember O'Brien entered the Council Chamber at 2:17 p.m. Alex Tsimerman addressed the Council regarding a non-Agenda item. Yvette Dinish addressed the Council regarding a non-Agenda item. David Haines addressed the Council regarding a non-Agenda item. Tyrone Kenney addressed the Council regarding a non-Agenda item. Michael Fuller addressed the Council regarding a non-Agenda item. H. PAYMENT OF BILLS CB 119492 AN ORDINANCE appropriating money to pay certain audited claims and ordering the payment thereof. Motion was made and duly seconded to pass Council Bill 119492.
