The Ralph Klein Alison Pure Slavin following Commissioners were in attendance: Nicoie Potthast, Bruce Rottner, Keith A. Robinson Ferdinand Soco, and Vice Chair Helens Levine. Also present were Police Chief Brian Edie Sue Sutker Baker, Fire Chief Jeffrey Hoeflich and Board Secretary Debra Stinson. Manager John T. Lackerby Counsel Michael M. Large Commissioner Rottner made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Potthastto approve the Minutes of the August 28, 2023 Regular Meeting as written. Motion carried 5-0. The Board discussed the possibility of utilizing multiple Polygraph examination vendors Awards and Distinctions in order to timely process the candidate pool. Board Secretary Debra Stinson provided American Public Works Association information relative to providers currently used by comparable municipalities. The Board (APWA) Accreditation recommended additional information be sought relative to initiating a Request for Commission on Fire Accreditation Proposal and/or engaging the appropriate vetting process. International (CFAI) Gold Level Clean Air Counts At 6:05 pm, Commissioner Levine, seconded by Commissioner Soco, made a motion to Community move into Executive Session. Motion carried 5-0. Government Finance Officers Association Budget Award Government Finance Officers The next regular Commission meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 16, 2023 at Association Certificate of 6:00pm in Village Hall.
