Chair Evans called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and called the roll. One

Manager John T, Lockerby seconded by Commissioner Potthast to approve the Minutes of the December 18,
Counsel Michael M. Large 2023 Regular Meeting, as amended. Motion carried 4 -0. Chair Evans made a
motion, seconded by Commissioner Rottner to approve the Minutes of the January
16, 2024 Regular meeting, as written. Motion carried 4-0.
The Board reviewed the resignation letter from Firefighter Alex Berton and
Awards and Distinctions
discussed the circumstances surrounding the resignation. The Board accepted
American Public Works Association
(APWA) Accreditation Firefighter Berton's resignation.
Commission on Fire Accreditation
International (CFAI) Sample reports from potential polygraph examination vendors were provided to
Gold Level Clean Air Counts Board for review and discussion. Due to the absence of Human Resources Director
