Village Hall 51270akton Street SKOKIE ^]^nn|^f __ _ Skoki^Hin"olis'60077 Phone (847) 673-0500 Fax (847) 673-0525 www.skokie.org SKOKIE BOARD OF FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSIONERS MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING January 21,2025 PRESENT: Chair: Willard Evans Vice Chair Helene Levine Commissioner Nicole Potthast Commissioner Bruce Rottner Commissioner Ferdinand Soco ALSO PRESENT: Debra Stinson, Board Secretary Jeffrey Hoeflich, Fire Chief Jesse Barnes, Police Chief Chair Evans called the meeting to order at 6:04 p.m. Commissioner Bruce Rottner made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Potthast to approve the Minutes of the December 16, 2024, Regular Meeting. Motion carried 5-0. Police Chief Jesse Barnes presented memoranda announcing the resignation of Probationary Police Officer Ernesto Colon, and the retirement of Police Commander Timothy Gramins after 30 years of service. The Board extended best wishes to Officer Colon along with their sincere thanks and congratulations to Commander Gramins on his retirement and for his many years of service to the Village of Skokie. With no further business on the agenda, Vice Chair Hetene Levine made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Ferdinand Soco to move into Executive Session. Motion carried 5-0. Board Chair Willard Evans, Jr. will have the honor of performing the swearing-'sn duties.
