13079 MINUTES of a regular meeting of the Mayor and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Skokie, Cook County, Illinois held in the Council Chambers at 5127 Oakton Street at 8 p.m. on Monday, May 1, 2017 Pledge of Allegiance led by Cub Scout Pack #85 from Middleton School. Proclamations 2017 Humanitarian of the Year – Avi Goldfeder Mayor Van Dusen read a Proclamation honoring Goldfeder for his personal and professional commitment of giving back to our community and helping to make the Village of Skokie one of the best communities in the United States of America. He thanked the Village for the honor for the award. 2017 Humanitarian of the Year – Rob Paddor Mayor Van Dusen also read a Proclamation honoring Rob Paddor for his personal and professional commitment of giving back to our community and helping to make the Village of Skokie one of the best communities in the United States of America. First Responder Ribbon Month – May 2017 Mayor Van Dusen read a Proclamation honoring National Police Week of May 15, 2017 and the official time to tie blue and red ribbons as a gestures of gratitude for Skokie’s finest and Bravest.
