13294 MINUTES of a regular meeting of the Mayor and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Skokie, Cook County, Illinois held in the Council Chambers at 5127 Oakton Street at 8 p.m. on Monday August 5, 2019 Pledge of Allegiance led by the Village Clerk Pramod C. Shah. The Mayor called the meeting to order. The Clerk called the Roll. Those present were Roberts, Sutker, Ulrich, Bromberg, Klein, Gray- Keeler and Mayor Van Dusen. Mayor Van Dusen introduced Veton Hasku, staff member for State Representative Ram Villamin. Motion to approve the Consent Agenda. Moved: Trustee Roberts Seconded: Trustee Ulrich Ayes: Roberts, Sutker, Ulrich, Bromberg, Klein, Gray-Keeler and Mayor Van Dusen Nays: None. Absent: None. Ordinance 19-8-C-4475 Motion to adopt an ordinance granting relief from Chapter 10, Article I, Section 10-10 of the Skokie Village Code pertaining to the temporary sale and consumption of alcoholic liquor on the public right of way and municipal property. Plan Commission Case 2019-18P – Site Plan Approval: 7401 Lincoln Avenue Motion to accept the original staff report and conditions without the amended recommendations from the Plan Commission that the petitioner’s request for site plan approval to operate a religious assembly use on a site that is 0.94 acres, rather than the required 1 acre minimum lot size, in an R2 Single-Family zoning district be approved. Mayor Van Dusen expressed condolences to the family of Doug Gordon member of the Telecommunication and Technology Commission and former member of the Cable Commission. Also the family of Officer Jose Leos, who served with the US Navy, the Berkeley Police Department and 14 years with the Skokie Police Department. Mayor Van Dusen read a letter Chief Scarpelli wrote to the family expressing sympathy. Adjournment.
