Dangerous Dog Hearing for Dogs Named White Boy & Princess at 40 Adams St Owned by Edwin Gonzalez COMMENTS - Current Meeting: Read and Officer Rene Robichaud from TJO reported they were called to the resident three (3) times, most of the complaints was for barking. When they arrived the dogs were inside with owner. Complainant Amy Hendrickon, did not appeared. Owner Mr. Edwin Gonzales, appeared and testified Councilor Edwards, Board member asked if TJO or Attorney Shewchuck can explain to Mr Gonzales the consequence of possible losing his dogs. Officer Robichaud explained to Mr Gonzales the consequences. Councilor Edwards made a motion of no Findings, seconded by Board Landry. Motion passed by unanimous voice vote with Board Johns absent. Dangerous Dog Hearing for Dog Named Bella at 27 Sylvester St Owned by Charles Sellers COMMENTS - Current Meeting: Read and Officer Rene Robichaud from TJO reported that there are video evidences of the dog existing the property, rushing up to people, Animal Control Officer charged at into his vehicle, two (2) Sherriff's Deputy being ran off the property and chasing an individual from the neighborhood who was walking. The dog behavior are concerning. complainants Donald White and Tammie White, the appeared and Mr White testified that the dog is still untethered and there are more videos. Owner Marcia Seller, Mr Seller Wife appeared and testified the dog is her husband lifeline and the dog has never attacked anyone. Rebuttals Mr. White say their a neighbor was attacked and was bitten and it very concerning what the dog can do. Councilor Edwards made a motion to deemed the dog as nuisance with condition #1 and #3 from the City Ordinance, seconded by Board Member Landry. Motion passed by voice vote with Board Johns absent. The Board deemed the dog as nuisance 3. Dangerous Dog Hearing for 16 Weymouth St Owned by Megan Schwartz COMMENTS - Current Meeting: Read and Rene Robichaud from TJO reported there one complaint stating the dog is vicious and always loose, and dog owner often leaves dog unattended. The dog is licensed and Animal Control Page 2 Printed 2/16/2024 Regular Minutes January 9, 2024 spayed, there is about forty(40) pages of supporting documentation on the Schwartz family behalf. Complainant Bob Collamore, did not appear and no one appeared on behalf of the complainant. Owner Megan Schwartz, appeared and stated her dog is not a nuisance. Her neighbor don't like dogs, and he pounded on her fence and her door. Mrs. Shwartz says he has a stockade fence. Councilor Edward made a motion to dismissed, seconded by Board Officer Fleming. Motion to dismissed passed by voice vote with Board Johns absent. 4. Nuisance Dog Hearing for Dogs Named Ace & Kodi at 27 Hickory St Owned by Franceska Garcia COMMENTS - Current Meeting: Read and Officer Rene Robichaud from TJO gave a report of the dogs have picked up at least seventeen (17) times. The dogs have made all the way to Boston Rd by Eastfield Mall and the Highway, the dogs are a nuisance in the city Complainant no complainant. Owner Franceska Garcia, owner of dogs named Ace and Kodi did not appeared. Councilor Edwards asked what are the most advantageous condition. Attorney Schechuk asked what kind of dogs are they Officer Robichaud say they are Husky and a Germany Shepherd. Board Landry asked how are the dogs getting out. Officer Robichaud says they are walking over the fence. Councilor Edward made a motion to deemed the dogs nuisance with condition 1,3 and,5 of the City Ordinance, seconded by Office Flemings Motion passed by voice vote with Board Johns absent.
