Michael Overton, Pam Sailors, Robert Saylor, Sarah Smith, David Trippe, Gary Whitaker Angela Filbeck – Alternate Kelly Johnson – MCHRCR Chairman CITY STAFF LIAISONS: Dan Wichmer – City Attorney, Sharon Smith – City Manager’s Office ABSENT: __________________________________________________________________________ The 4/1/13 minutes were reviewed and Dick Hardy made a motion to accept. Rev. Steve Gardner seconded motion. Minutes approved. Judge Sweeney introduced Rev.John Lindell Lead Pastor at James River Assembly. Rev. Lindell presented the beliefs of Christian of the relationship that God created between male and female. Believes the ordinance is a conflict of the constitutional rights. Judge Sweeney requested each sub-committee update the Task Force of their progress: Employment Sub-Committee – Gary Whitaker – questionaire created - received 171 responses from local businesses. Estimated 2 additional meetings for final results Health-Transgender Sub-Committee – David Trippe – asked Stephanie Perkins to cover PROMO preliminary non-discrimination survey report (handout). Should have report ready after April 29 sub-committee meeting. Public Accommodations Sub-Committee – Dick Hardy states they plan to have additional meetings before ready.
