Minutes Personnel & Administration Committee Thursday, April 2, 2026 11:00 AM Webinar Minutes are preliminary and may change until finally approved I. Call to Order President Green called the meeting to order at 11:03am II. Roll Call The Chair directed the Clerk to call the roll and the following members answered their names: Mr. Cohn, Ms. Clark Hubbard, and President Green. 3 members were present. A quorum was established. III. Approval of Minutes Minutes from Thursday, March 5, 2026 committee hearing President Green entertained a motion to approve the minutes from the March 5, 2026, Personnel and Administration Committee meeting. Mr. Cohn moved to approve the minutes from the March 5, 2026, committee hearing. Seconded by Ms. Clark Hubbard. The following voted aye: Mr. Cohn, Ms. Clark Hubbard, and President Green. 3 aye votes. Motion carried. IV. Board Bills for Review None V. Resolutions for Review VI. Committee Discussions Closed Meeting Statement Portions of this meeting of Board of Aldermen's Personnel and Administration Committee may be closed to the public under the provisions of Section 610.021 (3) and Section 610.022 in order to permit the members of the Committee to discuss matters related to the hiring, firing, disciplining or promoting of employees of the Board of Aldermen. The committee will discuss the following and not take public comment: Discussion Item Number 1 6th Ward Legislative Assistant The committee will hire the Legislative Assistant for the 6th Ward. Discussion Item Number 2 Deputy Clerk The committee will discuss hiring the Deputy Clerk. President Green dispensed with Discussion Item Number 1. President Green stated she will entertain a motion to go into closed session. Mr. Cohn moved to go into closed session. Seconded by Ms. Clark Hubbard. The Chair directed the Clerk to call the roll. The following voted aye: Mr. Cohn, Ms. Clark Hubbard, and President Green. 3 aye votes. The motion carried. The meeting went to closed session at 11:05am. Mr. Cohn moved to leave close session. Seconded by Ms. Clark Hubbard. The Chair directed the Clerk to call the roll. The following voted aye: Mr. Cohn, Ms. Clark Hubbard, and President Green. 3 aye votes. The motion carried. The meeting returned to open session at 11:14 am. VII. Acknowledgment of Any Written Testimony VIII. Announcements IX. Excused Members President Green excused Mr. Aldridge for necessary absence. X. Adjournment Having no other business to discuss, the Chair entertained a motion to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Cohn moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Ms. Clark Hubbard.
