I. Call to Order
The President called the meeting to order at 11:04 AM and directed the Clerk to
call the roll.
II. Roll Call
The Chair directed the Clerk to call the roll and the following members answered
to their names: Mr. Cohn, Mr. Aldridge, and President Green. 3 members were
present. A quorum was established.
III. Approval of Minutes
Motion to approve minutes from Friday, April 10, 2026, committee hearing.
The Chair entertained a motion to approve the minutes from Friday, April 10,
2026, committee hearing.
Mr. Cohn moved to approve the minutes from Friday, April 10, 2026,
committee hearing.
Seconded by Mr. Aldridge.
The following voted in aye: Mr. Cohn, Mr. Aldridge, and President Green. 3
aye votes.
The motion carried.
IV. Board Bills for Review
None
V. Resolutions for Review
None
VI. Committee Discussions
The committee will discuss the following and no public comment will be
taken:
Discussion Item Number 1
The committee will discuss hiring the Legislative Assistant for the 6th Ward.
Discussion Item Number 2
The committee will discuss hiring the Deputy Clerk for the Board of
Aldermen.
Discussion Item Number 3
The committee will have a discussion regarding job descriptions and duties in
the Board of Aldermen.
Closed Meeting Statement
Portions of this meeting of Board of Aldermen's Personnel and Administration
Committee may be closed to the public under the provisions of Section
610.021 (3) in order to permit the members of the Committee to discuss
matters related to the hiring, firing, disciplining or promoting of employees of
the Board of Aldermen.
The Chair stated she would entertain a motion to go into closed session.
Mr. Aldridge moved to go into closed session.
Seconded by Mr. Cohn.
The Chair directed the Clerk to call the roll.
The following voted aye: Mr. Cohn, Mr. Aldridge, and President Green. 3 aye
votes.
The motion carried.
The meeting went into closed session at 11:06 am.
The Chair stated she would entertain a motion to leave closed session.
Mr. Aldridge moved to leave closed session.
Seconded by Mr. Cohn.
The Chair directed the Clerk to call the roll.
The following voted aye: Mr. Cohn, Mr. Aldridge, and President Green. 3 aye
votes.
The motion carried.
The meeting returned to open session at 12:30pm.
