Minutes Personnel & Administration Committee Friday, April 17, 2026 11:00 AM Webinar Minutes are preliminary and may change until finally approved I. Call to Order The President called the meeting to order at 11:04 AM and directed the Clerk to call the roll. II. Roll Call The Chair directed the Clerk to call the roll and the following members answered to their names: Mr. Cohn, Mr. Aldridge, and President Green. 3 members were present. A quorum was established. III. Approval of Minutes Motion to approve minutes from Friday, April 10, 2026, committee hearing. The Chair entertained a motion to approve the minutes from Friday, April 10, 2026, committee hearing. Mr. Cohn moved to approve the minutes from Friday, April 10, 2026, committee hearing. Seconded by Mr. Aldridge. The following voted in aye: Mr. Cohn, Mr. Aldridge, and President Green. 3 aye votes. The motion carried. IV. Board Bills for Review None V. Resolutions for Review None VI. Committee Discussions The committee will discuss the following and no public comment will be taken: Discussion Item Number 1 The committee will discuss hiring the Legislative Assistant for the 6th Ward. Discussion Item Number 2 The committee will discuss hiring the Deputy Clerk for the Board of Aldermen. Discussion Item Number 3 The committee will have a discussion regarding job descriptions and duties in the Board of Aldermen. Closed Meeting Statement Portions of this meeting of Board of Aldermen's Personnel and Administration Committee may be closed to the public under the provisions of Section 610.021 (3) in order to permit the members of the Committee to discuss matters related to the hiring, firing, disciplining or promoting of employees of the Board of Aldermen. The Chair stated she would entertain a motion to go into closed session. Mr. Aldridge moved to go into closed session. Seconded by Mr. Cohn. The Chair directed the Clerk to call the roll. The following voted aye: Mr. Cohn, Mr. Aldridge, and President Green. 3 aye votes. The motion carried. The meeting went into closed session at 11:06 am. The Chair stated she would entertain a motion to leave closed session.  Mr. Aldridge moved to leave closed session. Seconded by Mr. Cohn. The Chair directed the Clerk to call the roll. The following voted aye: Mr. Cohn, Mr. Aldridge, and President Green. 3 aye votes. The motion carried. The meeting returned to open session at 12:30pm. VII.
