10 RES 14-1292 Declaring September 13, 2014 as Community Gardening Day in the
City of St. Paul.
Council President Lantry read the a portion of the resolution and presented a copy to
Gardening Matters staff. She moved approval of the resolution.
Nadja Berneche, Gardening Matters Program Director, made brief comments.

Councilmember Tolbert said he had consulted with Councilmember Thao and would
move to lay the matter over for one week. He stressed to Mr. Hayes that there was
be no excuse not to finish in a week.
