Council President Lantry read the a portion of the resolution and presented a copy to Gardening Matters staff. She moved approval of the resolution. Nadja Berneche, Gardening Matters Program Director, made brief comments. Councilmember Tolbert said he had consulted with Councilmember Thao and would move to lay the matter over for one week. He stressed to Mr. Hayes that there was be no excuse not to finish in a week. Public hearings on ordinances are held at the third reading. Second Reading 13 Ord 14-37 Amending Legislative Code Chapter 64 pertaining to sign regulations in the City of Saint Paul. Laid over to September 17 for third reading/public hearing 14 Ord 14-38 Memorializing City Council action granting the application of TCB Properties LLC to rezone property at 1599 - 1605 Rice Street from B3 General Business to T2 Traditional Neighborhood, and amending Chapter 60 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code pertaining to the Saint Paul zoning map. Withdrawn Council members shared information about upcoming events in their wards. ADJOURNMENT Councilmember Brendmoen moved adjournment.
