refuse, scrap wood & bldg materials strewn throughout the yard
Fire Supervisor A.J. Neis: follow-up to that - an inspection was made yesterday by Fire
Insepctor Franquiz; there are photographs in the file along with 20 code violations
noted in & around the property
Ms. Moermond: the goal of this inspection was to come to a determination about
whether this property could come out of the VB Program by means of getting the Fire
Certificate re-instated or whether it needed a full Code Compliance Inspection with 4
trades' inspectors going thru the house
-the list is pretty exhaustive & a big portion of the list is deferred maintenance, like
cracks in walls & electrical fixtures, etc.
-were you along for the inspection?
Ms. Schugel: yes; I was there; these are general explanations - cracks in walls; outlet
covers broken, missing, broken light globes; house was not kept in good order by
tenant; it is our responsibility to keep the house up to code but we had a problem with
the tenant not allowing us in the house or only in part of the house; we are aware of the
state of the house; our intention is to get it in order
