Confer with legal counsel regarding the present tax litigation with Walmart (for the year 2025) and to consider potential settlement parameters. Closed under Wisconsin Statute Section 19.85 (1), which cites as follows: (g) “Conferring with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rending oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved.” Upon Motion and Second the Council may reconvene into open session under Wis. Statute 19.85(2) to take action, if any, related to closed session.
