MEETING AGENDA
For members of the public wishing to view the meeting, or participate in the public hearing

1. CALL TO ORDER
2. PUBLIC COMMENTS: Citizens who desire to address the Committee on any matter
may sign up to do so prior to this meeting. Public comments will be received during
this portion of the meeting. Please limit comments to three minutes. No discussion or
final action will be taken by the Main Street Economic Vitality Committee.
3. BUSINESS RECRUITMENT Multiple people will report
Brainstorming about prospective new businesses and about space to rent or buy:
• Boutique shop and real estate development office at 118 S 1st Street
• New shop space opening-up at 202 S Main Street
• The Art Department & Wreck Room, 14-16 S 4th Street
• Cha Community, 7 N Main Street
• FoxDog Café & Beer Garden, 209 N 7th
• Old L & M Electronics Bldg., 217 W Main
• Bill’s Smoke Wagon moving to a brick & mortar location
• New Bar with Social Seminars, Francesca D’Agnese & Jesse Nelson
• Main Street Hall, 12 S Main Street
• Weird Doughs Bakery Coffee Shop, 11 N 6th Street
• Retail spaces in major new buildings being restored
Inside Central Plaza & Hawn Hotel, Sears Building & 4th Street Parking Garage.
• Total Elegance Creations at 15 S Main Street
4. BUSINESS RETENTION Multiple people will report
Open discussion about any businesses that might
be struggling and how we might assist them.
5. BUSINESS SUPPORT & EXPANSION Multiple people will report
• Bird Creek Burger – new location, 8 S 4th Street
• Tip Top Grooming – looking for a larger space.
• Darling Décor & More – recently expanded footprint at 10 N Main St.
• The Parlour Antiques & Oddities – Looking for a second space
6. TRAINING
• The THC Real Places Conference, February 2-4
