Page 1 of 5 MEMORANDUM TO: Community Recreation Commission FROM: Suzanne Earl, Aquatic Program Supervisor Date: March 4, 2026 SUBJECT A Resolution Establishing the Fees for the Village's Jefferson Pool for 2026. RECOMMENDED ACTION The Recreation staff requests passing this resolution to establish the 2026 Jefferson Pool fees for public notice to be given prior to May 1, 2026. Three staff recommended changes from 2025: 1. Add a $1 discount on the daily admission for seniors 60+, active military and veterans. 2. Add a late season Pool Pass starting July 10 at a 40% (rounded) discount – see below. 3. After July 10: Add $15 for each additional family member (more than 6) residing at the same address. BACKGROUND • Pool rates need to be finalized by Friday, April 10 to be included in the Summer Program Guide. • Recommendations are based on feedback from staff, residents and the Community Recreation Commission. • Pre-season o Staff training will take place Tuesday-Friday, May 27-29. o As of today (3/4) Willowbrook ends May 21. o Mariners swim team Tuesday/Thursday May 26/28 4-7:30pm. • Jefferson Pool hours 2026 o Opens Saturday, May 30, 2026. Mon-Thurs 12-8pm; Fri-Sun 12-7pm. o Closes Mon-Fri starting Monday, Aug 17. The first day at Willowbrook HS. o Post-season: open 12-6p Saturday and Sunday, Aug 22/23 & 29/30. • Villa Park resident suggestion in 2025 to request the Village offer a late season-pass after baseball season ends. o July 10 is day-42 of the season, there are 41 more days: July 11-Aug 30, 2026. o After surveying 10 area community pools  A 50% discount is offered at three on July 4, July 19, & Aug 1.  Seven said they offer no late-season discounts.  We sold 1 season pass after July 4, 2025. • Please find attached spreadsheet that includes 5 years of pool pass rates and financial reports. RECOMMENDED ACTION The Recreation staff requests passing this resolution to establish the appropriate annual membership fees for Non-resident Youth and Senior Track only and for Non-resident Youth Open Gym and Track. BACKGROUND • Fees need to be finalized by Friday, April 10 to be included in the Summer Program Guide. • Recommendations are based on feedback from staff and patrons. • Please see attached Membership rates from page 4 of the Winter/Spring Program guide • Currently the fees are as follows: o Track only membership for Non-Resident youth is currently $80 o Track only membership for Non-Resident senior is currently $80 o Open Gym and Track membership for Non-Resident youth is currently $60 DISCUSSION The following current Annual Membership fees and changes requested in red are hereby recommended.
