1. Community Resource Fair at Warrenville Public Library 10am-12pm
Saturday, September 12. Info tables, touch-a-truck, and a special visit
from Bluey. Volunteers needed for IDEC table.
2. Warrenville Smiles: Moving from Recycled Cycling to Fresh Market.
3. New student representative needed. City Code amended to say any junior
or senior who lives in the corporate limits of Warrenville regardless of
where they go to school is eligible to serve.
4. Welcome Packets: Outreach updates.
5. Blue Envelope Program: Discuss information that was gathered. What City
needs: IDEC to identify who manages the program in other communities,
how it works, costs, and then make a recommendation to the Police Chief.
6. Sign Language Interpreter: Volunteers needed to confirm available sign
language interpreters available to be contracted by the City. The City has
been contacted by Patti Shore Kaden, pattishorekaden@yahoo.com, 630-
605-4007 volunteering her services to be on our call list.
7. National Night Out: Planning and preparing for event. To take place on
Tuesday, August 4, from 5pm – 9pm (set-up begins earlier). Volunteers
needed for a two-hour shift. Sharing a table with the Environmental
Advisory Commission.
