THE CITY OF WEST JORDAN CITY COUNCIL MEETING ELECTRONIC MEETING February 23, 2022 8000 S Redwood Road West Jordan, UT 84088 Due to the increased threat of serious illness and loss of life by the rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Chair of West Jordan City Council has determined that conducting this City Council meeting at City Hall or at another anchor location is likely to contribute to the spread of COVID-19 and would present a substantial risk to the health, safety, and welfare of the City’s residents, participants, and observers. Therefore, pursuant to Utah Code 52-4-207(5), the West Jordan City Council hereby declares that the meetings of this public body will be held only electronically until further notice. This determination will expire in thirty (30) days from the date the Chair of the West Jordan City Council signs the written determination. The Council encourages interested parties and the public to watch the video stream of the meeting via the city’s YouTube channel. https://bit.ly/WestJordan (West Jordan’s YouTube channel) Interested parties may participate during the meeting when called upon by the Council Chair via Zoom. Duehlmeier and the City of West Jordan regarding a rezone of 1.05 acres from RR-1A Zone (Rural Residential 1- acre minimum lots) and 0.093 acres from R-3-8 (ZC) (Multi-family Residential 8 units per acre maximum density (Conditions of Zoning)) to R-1-8C Zone (Single-family residential 8,000 square foot lots) for PHD Estates located at approximately 1517 West 8600 South * UNFINISHED BUSINESS Unfinished Business Items are matters that have been introduced that remain unresolved. Updates are listed to assist in planning or resolution. a. Southwest Quadrant Resolution – introduced to Council on July 15, 2021 and continued to a date uncertain. Currently with Economic Development. b. West Jordan City Center Station Area – Work Session held on August 25, 2021 and draft Resolution No. 21-034 presented.
