WORK SESSION 5:30 PM
Work Sessions are intended to provide Council Members with the opportunity to study issues and analyze
information in preparation for future Council meetings. All proposed items will be scheduled for a decision at a
future council meeting.

responses from the City Council, Mayor, or City Staff. However, as a point of personal privilege Council
Members, the Mayor, and Staff may respond to public comments if recognized by the Council Chair. Members
of the City Council strive to create a respectful and professional decorum during Council Meetings so that the
meeting can be conducted in an orderly, efficient, effective, and dignified manner. It is our desire that each
person attending a City Council meeting feel safe, respected, and comfortable participating in their
government. We hope that commenters will have that same goal and strive to do their best to keep comments
respectful, professional, and free from profanity, personal attacks, and indecency. When addressing the
Council, please provide your full name and limit your remarks to three (3) minutes. Written comments may
be submitted if a citizen does not wish to speak.

• Consider Ordinance No. 22-20 a petition by JS Miller Construction/John Miller requesting a
rezone of .66 acres from RR-.5 Zone (Rural Residential half-acre lots) to R-1-10E Zone (Single-
family residential 10,000 square foot lots minimum) for Jones Estates located at 7553 South 2700

• Consider Resolution No. 22-008 adopting proposed amendments to the South Valley Water

Parker Place located at 7430 S Redwood Road amending the six-foot masonry subdivision wall to
be replaced by a six-foot vinyl subdivision fence along lots 7, 8, 14, and 15, and parcel A
• Consider Ordinance No. 22-25 a petition by Todd Amberry /Canyon Stone Capital for approval
of a Master Development Agreement for Welby West subject to the approval of Ordinance No.
22-26 approval of a General Plan Land Use Map amendment from Neighborhood Commercial to
High Density Residential and rezoning approximately 11.54 acres from SC-2 Zone (Community
Shopping Center) and R-1-10 Zone (Single-family residential 10,000 square foot minimum lot
size) to Planned Residential Development-High Zone (PRD(H)) for Welby West located on the
northeast corner of 4800 West and 9000 South
• Consider Resolution No. 22-019 authorizing the mayor to execute a Franchise Agreement with
Syringa Networks
• Consider Ordinance No. 22-28 amending the 2009 West Jordan City Code (adding Accessory
Dwelling Units in the A-1, A-5, and A-20 zoning districts as a permitted use, Section 13-5A-2)
