THE CITY OF WEST JORDAN REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ELECTRONIC MEETING JANUARY 12, 2022 Council Chambers 8000 S Redwood Road, 3rd Floor West Jordan, UT 84088 Due to the increased threat of serious illness and loss of life by the rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Chair of City of West Jordan Redevelopment Agency has determined that conducting this meeting at City Hall or at another anchor location is likely to contribute to the spread of COVID-19 and would present a substantial risk to the health, safety, and welfare of the City’s residents, participants, and observers. Therefore, pursuant to Utah Code 52-4- 207(4), the City of West Jordan Redevelopment Agency hereby declares that the meetings of this public body will be held only electronically until further notice. This determination will expire in thirty (30) days from the date the Chair of the City of West Jordan Redevelopment Agency signs the written determination. The Redevelopment Agency Board may temporarily recess the meeting to convene in a closed session to discuss the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property as provided by Utah Code Annotated §52-4-205 4. ELECTRONIC PARTICIPATION One or more board members may participate electronically in this meeting using online video conferencing technology per Utah Code (§52-4-207) and West Jordan City Ordinance 1-13-1-E. Members’ participation via electronic communication will be broadcast and amplified so other board members and all other persons present in the Council Chambers will be able to hear or see the communication.
